Week of 10/14, Primer almost all finished.

10/10, Started getting ready to put primer all over.
Started on the right side, worked around to the back, left side, and the front.
They had 5 gallon cans of Kilz primer, and pumped it through, maybe 100' of plastic hose,
to a spray nozzle that seemed to provide pretty precise application control.
On Monday, 10/14 they finished the front of the house, including the garage.

Tomorrow, they'll start the finish coat, and the trim.
By Friday, it should be looking pretty good.
Then the solar guys will put the solar panels back up.
And we're getting a battery, to tide us over power outages,
and also feed electricity back to PG&E when the prices are highest.

You can also see some of the new roof, and a hint of the support for the solar panels.
Apparently we have a good deal on the solar panels, so if we don't change them,
then at the end of the year, when PG&E does the true-up, we come out slightly ahead.

I am, vaguely, considering an electric self driving car, which would increse out electric
use considerably, but we'll cross that bridge later.

OH, and when I think about the house, the 1st floor /main floor is on the top.
The second floow, with a bath and 3 bedrooms, is down one level.
And the third floor, that is a storage area, is below that.

Front of the house ront of the house, there are 2 small sections. Both were done today.
I think the only plywood remaining is the main deck in back of the house.

The left side of the front of the house is where the master bath, and bedroom are.
Downstairs is the furnace and water heater room, and crawl space where the ejector pump is.

The left side of the house, the master bed and bath are on top.
Below that are the sewing room, guest bedroom, and the furnace and water heater room.
Below that is the 3rd floor storage area that Davin built in the large crawl space.
That has an external door, because if there are no windows, or internal access,
then it's just storage area and does not need permits or inspection.

In the back of the house, under the main deck, is Beverly's bedroom on the left,
and a fairly large bedroom, or playroom.
Below that is the 2nd door to the storage area (3 rooms) that Davin built.

To the left of the door is the more obvious opening to the crawl space.
There are 2 more 'door sized' openings in the front of the house.
Eventually, they'll all have doors. Really.

The right side of the house is the garage and kitchen pantry.
Below that is Beverly's bedroom and bath, and open space under the garage.
Yes, it always worried me that the garage wasn't on the ground.

And then back to the front, comparing the difference in one day.

What a difference a day makes. 24 little hours.
I wanted a lighter trim, but this is growing on me.
